PA Sport's global reach is strengthened through its partnership with Sportal Australia - the market leader in delivering online solutions for sporting bodies in Australia and New Zealand.  Sportal was seen as the ideal partner for PA Sport in that part of the world because of its similar approach to focusing on sport governing bodies - a policy which helped establish online partnerships with Cricket Australia, the AFL, the Football Federation of Australia and the All Blacks among others.

The first site was for the Australian PGA Tour featuring live scoring launched in January 2000, just a few months after Sportal came into being.

Sportal's relationships with governing bodies are based on a proven track record of providing applications to display sports content on the internet and mobile phones.

They have developed and own a world class, sports focused, content management system designed to optimise the management and display of online live scores and sports news content. 

Sportal also owns 100% of Champion Data, the official scoring and data provider of the AFL.

PA Sport's 33% investment in Sportal came in 2006 and enables us to market these web and wireless services to online publishers and mobile operators around the globe.
