July 2007 - PA Sport is pleased to support The Copenhagen 2007 Homeless World Cup and will be publishing match reports and results from the tournament on our sports wire. The Homeless World Cup, supported by UEFA & Nike, kicks off from on 29th July 2007 and runs to 4th August 2007.  From Argentina to Australia, South Africa to Portugal, Cameroon to Brazil, Germany to England, homeless people take a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent their country. Some 77% of players change their lives for the better after participating in a Homeless World Cup, coming off drugs and alcohol, moving into homes, jobs, training, education, repairing relationships with families, and even becoming coaches and players for semi and pro football clubs. An estimated 25,000 players have been trying out for a place on this year's national team.
