PA SportEV Runs Australian
Open Mobile Service.

January 2007 - PA SportEV, the leading provider of sports video for broadband and mobile, has successfully operated its first official tennis mobile service, for the Australian Open tennis tournament. 

PA SportEV was chosen to operate the site by Optus, the Official Telecommunications Provider to the Australian Open and Tennis Australia. 

The Australian Open WAP site included news, live score updates and video highlights which were downloaded or streamed at the end of each day's play. The site, accessible to Optus subscribers received 400,000 page impressions during the tournament.

PA SportEV was selected by Optus to provide the service, having successfully collaborated with Optus over the past three seasons as the supplier of their official FA Premier League mobile service.

The operation of the Australian Open mobile service represents a new milestone in PA SportEV's tennis application development, following work over the past twelve months during the US Open, Roland Garros and the Davis Cup.
