Football Live Operators - 2007/2008 Season

Location: Howden

Working on a casual basis in either our Howden or Leeds office, you will be required to enter match information supplied to you by an ex-professional footballer from any one of the Saturday afternoon's matches.

This information will then be sent to all our customers (BBC Vidiprinter, Sky Sports Vidiprinter, Teletext, BBC Online).

Successful candidates will have good communication skills, a keen interest in sport, a good knowledge of football along with a proven ability to work well under pressure.

No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

Hours of work are Saturdays (2pm to 6pm).

There may also be opportunities to work weekday evenings (7pm to 11pm) and Sunday shifts.

Team Sports Operators

Location: Howden

Working on a casual basis in our Howden office, you will be required to enter match datra from various football or rugby games supplied to you by one of our correspondnets. This information will then be sent to customers, such as BBC Sport Online, Sporting Life and Sky Sports, along with several other web customers and mobile clients.

Successful candidates will be pro-active, have good communication skills, a keen interest in football and or/rugby, good computer skills and an eye for detail and accuracy.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Hours of work are Saturday (2pm-6pm) as well as opportunities for Sunday and evening work.
